Michelle and I both have obsessive personalities. While you could take that as a negative attribute, we take it as a positive! We tend to meet our goals, whatever they may be. One of the biggest things we have changed is our mindset. Instead of obsessiveness about negative aspects, we focus on the positive. A big part of our daily routines are podcasts. We thrive on them! I love to listen on my morning commute It helps me get inspired for the day. Here are our favorite podcasts!

  • The Science of Success - Be forewarned, this one is a bit nerdy. We can’t get enough of it! Matt always has fantastic guests and more often than not we end up buying their books. I absolutely love that everything that is talked about is based in science. This is one Michelle and I both religiously listen to and absolutely recommend you checking it out.

  • Entrepreneurs on Fire - If you are even remotely interested in starting your own business, please listen to this show. JLD does a new episode EVERY DAY. I have learned a ton from tuning in over the years.

  • The GaryVee Audio Experience - Gary can be polarizing for sure. If you have issues with tough love, you may need to steer clear. I love him. He is so inspiring. He is also hilarious. I think you could learn from him whether you want to be a business owner or not. My favorite lesson is “stop buying shit to please people you hate”. So true!


  • Personality Hacker - I am a Myers Briggs lover. Maybe more than that. I literally have a notes file with everyone I know’s profile :) Not only do I love the podcast, their site is amazing as well. A big part of self development is knowing who you are. If you are questioning, like I was about 2 years ago, take a free assessment and tune in! (Erin is an INFJ and Michelle is an ESFJ if you’re curious)

  • Cardone Zone - I just learned about the Cardones from Michelle about six months ago. I love Elena and Grant so much! Similar to GaryVee, they tell it like it is, which I love. It’s also really cool to see how they are as a supportive couple.

  • Your Kick-Ass Life - If you struggle with people pleasing like we do, this one is a must. Andrea gives all kinds of fabulous advice to quit living your life for other people. She is so down to earth and easy to relate to. If you need help with self confidence and boundaries, this one is for you.

  • Screw the Nine to Five - I love this because I want to leave corporate one day. These two are so amazing. They bring value with comedy. Jill and Josh are married and are so funny with their easy tit for tat banter. Even if I wasn’t working on a side gig I would be entertained!

If you haven’t checked out a podcast, I highly recommend it. My time is on the drive to work and Michelle likes to listen at work. Some episodes are short (like 10 min) with others are longer (up to an hour). We don’t always finish in one sitting. It’s OK to separate into a couple of days. Remember, small steps add up to bigger change over time.
